Anguilla Beaches

Located amongst the Caribbean Islands, Anguilla is a must travel location. Despite its rather small size (It’s only 35 square miles) it boasts some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. If you are looking for beaches in paradise, than look no further than Anguilla.

There are over 35 Anguilla beaches. This might seem like a problem while trying to decide between them in such a beautiful place. When the selection is so vast it is very difficult to choose just one. I would definitely suggest you try all of them, but if time does not permit it let me point out the top Anguilla Beaches.

Best of the Big Anguilla Beaches

This is an easy one. Shoal Bay East. Boasting powdery sand that stretches a mile long, exotic reefs, superb beach bars and beachfront restaurants, It is hard to find a better beach in Anguilla, let alone the entire world. Shoal Bay East is considered by many one of the top beaches in the entire world. So while you are traveling to Anguilla and are looking for a good Anguilla Beach, take a trip over to Shoal Bay. You will not be disappointed.

Coolest Anguilla Beach

Sandy Ground has to be the melting pot of all Anguilla Beaches. The attraction is simple. Most travelers dock their boats here providing a lively and entertaining environment. If you are looking for social interaction at its finest you need look no further than Sandy Ground. With it’s superb collection of boats and lively people this has to be Anguilla’s Coolest Beach.

Most Secluded Anguilla Beach

If a social atmosphere just isn’t your thing, or you are looking forward to spending some alone time with a significant other than you should look no further than Barnes bay. Barnes Bay is one of the most if not the most secluded Beaches in Anguilla. It boasts Anguilla’s trademark sandy beaches and crystal blue water minus all the attention from other people. This beach is so secluded some people who have been living on Anguilla their entire life don’t know where it is. Now I would consider that pretty secluded if the locals don’t even know where it is.

Anguilla Beach Most likely to find treasure on

I couldn’t resist this category being a Caribbean pirate fan. Although my recommendation for this is not based on any facts (I didn't find any treasure here), the sheer look of this somewhat undeveloped island give you the definitive feel that pirates have been here. If you brought your metal detector and are looking for something that seems like an adventure, try out Sherrick’s Bay. You do not know what you will find there.
